Iranian Guards Urge US Voters to Reject Trump Policies

Iran's Revolutionary Guards have issued a 25-page open letter to American voters, urging them to reject President Donald Trump's policies and accept an offer of peaceful coexistence. The appeal was made on Tuesday, ahead of the US midterm elections. The letter criticizes US support for Israel and foreign wars, arguing that Washington's policy change could enable peaceful relations between the two nations. It also accuses Trump of concealing the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program, which Israel views as an existential threat, while downplaying the effectiveness of Tehran's blockade of Gulf oil. IRGC spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi said he did not expect the letter to influence the US administration's behavior, but suggested voters might hear the message. The Guards' power and influence have expanded since the US and Israel went to war with Iran.
