Trump: US Has 'One or Two' Targets Left in Iran Nuclear Standoff
President Donald Trump said Saturday the US still has "one or two" targets left to strike in Iran, including a suspected underground nuclear complex called Pickaxe Mountain, while claiming negotiations with Tehran were progressing. Trump stated Iran will never have a nuclear weapon and that the US had already knocked out much of Iran's military and nuclear capabilities, adding remaining sites could be addressed in 10 minutes. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said no decision on fresh strikes had been made, with diplomacy still an option. Iran's government denies nuclear activity at Pickaxe Mountain. The US and Israel launched a war against Iran in late February, and Trump has previously threatened further action after the US midterm elections.
