Iran's supreme leader threatens 'unrestricted' response to US and Israel
Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei warned the US and Israel against new attacks, threatening an "unrestricted geographical response" if they resume military or terrorist actions. In a statement posted on his website, Khamenei ordered commanders to update Iran's target list to include "all types of tangible and intangible assets belonging to the American-Zionist enemy." He stressed that Iran's armed forces would determine the time and conditions for ending any future conflict. The warning came during Khamenei's first reported meeting with senior military commanders, including Revolutionary Guards chief Ahmad Vahidi. It followed US-Israeli strikes in February that killed his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and triggered regional warfare. Fresh diplomatic efforts, including a Qatari delegation visit and a US letter, are underway.
