Trump floats new strikes on remaining Iranian nuclear sites
President Donald Trump has suggested potential new US strikes on Iranian targets, claiming the nuclear program is disabled but one or two facilities remain, which could be handled within ten minutes. Speaking Saturday at Mar-a-Lago, Trump specifically named Mount Kolang, or "Pickaxe Mountain," near the Natanz nuclear site in Isfahan province, where Iran denies any nuclear work. He said the US is not rushing further attacks and described ongoing war-ending talks as progressing, though he called Iranians unreliable. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said no decision on new strikes has been made, with diplomacy still open. Iran's foreign minister reported no meetings planned, while Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei threatened an immediate, effective, and geographically unrestricted response. The Iran war began in late February with US and Israeli attacks.
