Violent protests against Albania's government continued for a fifth consecutive day, with police using rubber bullets for the first time, injuring several demonstrators. Hundreds of youths gathered in Tirana, some masked, throwing stones and Molotov cocktails at the Education Ministry. Police responded with water cannons, tear gas, and rubber bullets, which are legally permitted under certain conditions but can cause severe injuries. An AFP journalist reported three people treated for wounds to the head, eye, and leg. Protesters expressed outrage, particularly noting that many minors were participating in the demonstrations.
