Xi Jinping calls US-China trade deal good news for global economy

Trump met Xi at the aircraft steps on September 24 as the Chinese leader arrived for an official visit. The two presidents last held talks on May 14-15 in Beijing. Trump described the visit as "incredible," saying many economic agreements were reached during the discussions. Earlier, Trump had outlined the key topic for his negotiations with Xi. The trade deal marks a significant step in US-China relations following previous rounds of talks between the two nations.
