Trump and Xi host tech CEOs at White House dinner

The official Trump-Xi dinner at the White House brought together over 100 guests, dominated by top American tech CEOs, business leaders, and government officials, while the Chinese delegation remained primarily political. US tech leaders including Tim Cook, Jensen Huang, Elon Musk, and Lisa Su attended, alongside executives from Meta, OpenAI, Microsoft, and Google. The menu featured pumpkin velouté, sea bass with sesame crust, and vanilla cream dessert with White House honey. Chinese business leaders were absent from the delegation, which consisted mainly of senior officials. Trump gifted Xi a bald eagle statue, and Xi stated the talks added "new substance" to US-China relations. The visit is the first by a Chinese president in over a decade.
