Ukraine and Western partners open two-day Brussels talks on recovery and security
Ukraine and Western partners will hold two days of talks in Brussels on November 4-5, according to Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service head Rustem Umerov. The negotiations involve the US, European Commission, UK, France, Germany, NATO, and the World Bank, with Ukrainian teams from the economy, finance, defense ministries and presidential office participating. The talks continue previous discussions in Florida and Oslo, focusing on post-war recovery, economic development, and long-term sustainability. Security guarantees for Ukraine will be discussed on November 5 with the US, UK, France, Germany, and NATO representatives. Umerov stated that security, recovery, and development must form a unified post-war plan, following US envoy Steve Witkoff's announcement of talks on European security architecture and Politico's report on the agenda.
