Trump disputes midterm results as Democrats win House and Senate seats
President Donald Trump has renewed unsubstantiated claims of election fraud in the US midterms, which Democrats won with at least 250 House seats and 54 Senate seats, despite earlier pledging to accept the results. Trump told reporters Thursday that elections are "so rigged," and disputed Alaska's count, where a namesake of Republican Senator Dan Sullivan received votes. He demanded those votes be credited to the real Sullivan, who trails Democrat Mary Peltola by about 600 votes with 75% counted. Democrats have flipped seven Republican Senate seats and are projected to gain House control. Mississippi's Senate race remains undecided. Democratic priorities include lowering living costs and strengthening parliamentary oversight of the executive branch starting January 3.
