Democrats' New Impeachment Push Will Fail, White House Says
The White House stated that Democrats may attempt to impeach President Donald Trump again following their victory in the congressional elections, but predicted the effort would fail. The administration's November 4 statement called previous impeachment attempts unsuccessful and said a new initiative would also be defeated. Democrats now control both chambers of Congress, enabling them to block Trump's legislative initiatives and nominations. The White House also claimed Democrats would try to reverse Trump's policies on immigration, taxes, law enforcement, energy, gender policy, and the Supreme Court. It cited border security, deportations, tax cuts, and energy production as achievements, asserting such efforts "will fail."
