Iran sets conditions for reopening Strait of Hormuz, demands end to war

Iran is preparing a list of conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, with ending the regional war as a key demand, according to top security adviser Mohsen Rezaei. Tehran has also agreed with Oman on a shipping corridor through the strait. Rezaei said mediators requested the conditions and that ships could use a central channel if the US meets Tehran's terms. The corridor would pass through Omani and Iranian waters, he told Lebanon's Al Manar network. President Trump ruled out talks, saying "We don't want to talk to them," while the White House continues its economic pressure campaign. Trump also declined to confirm sanctions on China and Russia over their trade with Iran.
