Apple Watch's Siri Recap feature summarizes your conversations

Apple launched Siri Recap on Wednesday for the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, a meeting notetaker that uses ambient listening to generate titles, summaries, and key points from conversations, reviewable in the Siri app. The feature can be set to always-on, scheduled, or fully disabled, and joins other new audio tools like Shazam for song identification, loud-sound alerts, and Live Rewind for 15-second conversation recaps via the digital crown. Apple says no recordings are stored, raw audio is inaccessible, and recaps are end-to-end encrypted. Despite these guardrails, the always-listening capability may raise privacy concerns as summaries could still capture sensitive information. Siri Recap resembles existing notetakers like Granola and Circleback, which also offer Apple Watch apps.
