Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 launch with S11 chip, longer battery life, and longevity-focused health features
Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 at its September 9, 2026 event, positioning them as comprehensive longevity-focused health assistants powered by the new S11 chip. The watches feature a new Health Sensing System with more frequent heart rate and HRV measurements. The S11 chip enables live heart rate tracking every five seconds and HRV readings every five minutes, feeding into a Readiness Score from 0-10. A redesigned Health app adds a Longevity tab with Health Age assessment, muscle strength evaluation, and VO2 max testing. Audio Intelligence features include Sound Recognition and Siri Recap. The Series 12 offers a lightweight design in 42mm and 46mm sizes with a 24-hour battery, starting at 14,900 baht in Thailand. The Ultra 4 features a titanium body, advanced GPS, and a record 50-hour battery life (84 hours in power-saving mode), priced from 29,900 baht. Both support fast charging and will be available starting September 18, 2026.
