Apple Watch Ultra 4's Battery Life Could Beat All Rivals

pcmag.com

Apple's new $799 Apple Watch Ultra 4 offers no exclusive smart features over the cheaper Series 12, but its improved battery life could make it the longest-lasting major smartwatch ever tested. Apple claims the Ultra 4 lasts up to 50 hours on a charge, up from 42 hours on the Ultra 3, with 84 hours in Low Power Mode. Historically, Apple's battery estimates underpromise, and real-world gains have exceeded official increases. If testing matches past trends, the Ultra 4 could reach 71 to 73 hours, surpassing Samsung's Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The watch is available for preorder and launches Sept. 18.
