Apple Releases iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 Release Candidates

Apple has seeded the release candidate versions of iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 for final testing, marking the last beta stage before the public release, provided no bugs are found. The update comes a week after the eighth beta. Registered developers and public beta testers can download the betas via the Settings app on iPhone or iPad, under General and Software Update. The update introduces Siri AI, a ChatGPT-like chatbot with world knowledge and personal data integration, plus new Apple Intelligence features in Photos, Safari, and other apps. Apple also improved Liquid Glass visuals with a transparency slider and added performance enhancements for faster app launches, AirDrop transfers, and Wi-Fi to Cellular transitions. An iOS 26.7 release candidate was also seeded.
