Apple unveils fifth-generation AirPods with noise cancellation and Siri AI translation

Apple unveiled the fifth generation of its AirPods wireless earbuds, featuring active noise cancellation and Siri AI integration for real-time language translation. Pre-orders begin Wednesday, September 9, with a launch date of September 18. The new AirPods include a new acoustic architecture for richer audio, more immersive Spatial Audio, and an Adaptive mode that switches between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency based on surrounding noise. They carry an IP57 certification for water, sweat, and dust resistance. The standard model offers four hours of battery with noise cancellation, while a second version with gesture controls provides five hours and wireless charging case support. Prices are 169 euros and 149 euros, respectively.
