Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang dismissed predictions that artificial intelligence could cause human extinction by 2030, calling them irresponsible "doomsday narratives" not grounded in science. He stated there is zero chance of such an outcome. Huang responded to claims by former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon and warnings from industry leaders like Sam Altman and Dario Amodei. He argued existing U.S. laws on liability and cybersecurity are sufficient, rejecting calls for new AI regulations. Nvidia's chips power major AI models, and its market value has reached $5.3 trillion. Huang also addressed U.S.-China chip restrictions, data center community concerns, and said he would welcome paying billions in additional taxes under a proposed California billionaires tax.
