Sundown Jet: the firm behind the Bolsonaro-linked Iguazú flight

elintransigente.com (Spanish) —

Federal authorities are investigating how Flávio Bolsonaro left Brazil via Argentine territory, with Sundown Jet S.A. emerging as a key company linked to the aerial movements. The firm, presided by Federico Giménez, owns the Learjet 45 registered LV-JZQ that flew from San Fernando to Puerto Iguazú on October 26. The aircraft landed in Iguazú at 21:25 the same night presidential advisor Santiago Caputo arrived in Misiones, returning to San Fernando the next day. Sundown Jet was founded in December 2016 with 100,000 pesos capital, and its business focuses exclusively on private flights, excluding regular passenger transport. The company operates a fleet of seven aircraft and began accepting cryptocurrency payments in October 2025. Neither the flight's contractor, its purpose, nor passenger list has been publicly disclosed, with documents needed to clarify the flight's connection to the investigation led by Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti.
