US forces destroy Iranian anti-aircraft device, Trump says
President Donald Trump said U.S. forces destroyed an Iranian anti-aircraft device in about 15 minutes, amid ongoing tensions in the Strait of Hormuz during the U.S.-Iran war. CENTCOM announced Saturday it formed Task Force Iron Gate, a Tampa-based team of about 20 personnel, to prevent Iran from transporting advanced weapons and materials across land borders and the Caspian Sea. Iranian officials claimed their military is stronger than at the war's start in February. The U.S. is offering up to $20 million for information on Iran's nuclear program. Iran's foreign minister held talks with 12 regional counterparts, while a lawmaker urged changing the negotiating team. Qatar denied reports that negotiations had collapsed.
