Iran says its forces are stronger than at war's start
Iran said Saturday its military has grown "stronger" since the war with the United States began, as Washington offered a $20 million reward for information on Tehran's nuclear programme. Iranian army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia said forces gained experience from direct confrontation with the US and Israel, are on higher alert, and retain control over the Strait of Hormuz, which remains closed until demands are met. The US military announced the reward Friday, seeking details on nuclear facilities, equipment, and personnel. The conflict started in late February when the US and Israel attacked Iran, with mediators working to prevent renewed fighting. President Donald Trump claimed Iran's nuclear programme was effectively destroyed and that Tehran wants a deal, while Iran's president said dialogue continues.
