UN chief urges Security Council reform to reflect today's world

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on world leaders Tuesday to reform the UN Security Council so it reflects today's world, urging legitimacy and effectiveness to meet current geopolitical challenges. India, a leading voice for reform, seeks a permanent seat and is vying for a non-permanent spot for 2028-29.
