Saudi Arabia resumes oil exports via key East-West pipeline

biz.liga.net (Ukrainian) —

Saudi Arabia has resumed oil exports via the East-West pipeline after repairs, restoring a key alternative export route for the kingdom. State-owned Saudi Aramco tested the pipeline last week and increased pressure in it, planning to restore significant pumping volumes by the weekend. The pipeline was attacked by drones in early September, and export shipments have now resumed. The restored pipeline provides buyers with additional supply relief, though some European clients were told they would receive no barrels in October. Goldman Sachs raised its December 2026 Brent forecast to $85 per barrel, while US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent predicted prices could fall to $40-50 after the Iran war ends.
