Tesla unveils flying Roadster with 2028 production date

ethnos.gr (Greek) —

Tesla unveiled the second-generation Roadster at an event hosted by Elon Musk, with production scheduled for 2028. The vehicle features a supercar design with lambo doors and a retractable spoiler. The car demonstrated a "half-pipe" ramp stunt, including inverted movement and an airborne launch. It uses a suction system for up to 2G downforce and SpaceX-developed compressed air thrusters, enabling 0-100 km/h in 0.81 seconds and a top speed over 370 km/h. Chief designer Franz von Holzhausen said the car was designed with "aerospace aesthetics." The reveal comes nine years after the first generation and seven years after the Cybertruck's unveiling.
