Judge signals support for CNN, Politico, and MS Now in White House press ban lawsuit

Judge Timothy J Kelly heard arguments in the case, noting the White House failed to provide advance notice of violations or an opportunity to be heard before suspending the journalists' hard passes. He questioned the sufficiency of post-revocation letters, which the administration argued outlined a process to contest the ban. The White House banned the outlets over alleged "falsehoods" and "sensitive information," while Trump cited "FAKE NEWS" coverage. The plaintiffs, backed by 49 media organizations, argue the ban is viewpoint-based and causes irreparable harm, with Kelly promising a swift ruling.
