iPhone Duo launches worldwide as Apple's first foldable

podrobnosti.ua (Ukrainian) —

Sales of Apple's first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, began worldwide on October 23. Queues formed outside stores in New York, Singapore, and Macau ahead of the launch, with Australian customers also waiting early. Pre-orders on October 16 were so strong that delivery times for new orders slipped to January within seconds. Apple warned that stock for walk-in customers would be limited. The device features a 5.4-inch external display and a 7.6-inch inner screen, a titanium body, A20 Pro processor, and a 48-megapixel camera, replacing Face ID with Touch ID. The Duo has a 24-hour battery, eSIM-only support, and a nano-textured inner screen to minimize the fold crease. It will support Apple Pencil later this year. US prices start at $1,999.
