Developers Turn iPhone Duo Into Mini Mac, Toaster, and Nintendo DS

The iPhone Duo's new foldable form factor is inspiring developers to create playful apps that turn the device into a miniature Mac, a toaster, and a Nintendo DS, among other creative uses. These apps leverage the Duo's multiple folding and orientation options, with many featuring skeuomorphic designs. Examples include Tiny Computers, which simulates retro machines, and Delta, a game emulator that transforms the device into a Nintendo DS with sleep mode when closed. Other notable apps include Toastie, a grilled cheese sandwich cooking game, and Fold & Squish, a free Rorschach art tool. The list also features relaxation apps like Portal, productivity tools like Fold Focus, and games such as Duometry, which tests angle-matching skills.
