9 Quirky iPhone Duo Apps to Try

Apple's first folding phone, the iPhone Duo, has inspired indie developers to create nine quirky apps that leverage its screen and hinge, offering unique experiences like grilling toast or playing dual-screen board games. The apps include Battlefleet Duo for tabletop battles, Flipcorder for retro camcorder videos, and RectoVerso flashcards that reveal answers as the phone opens. Others feature rhythm games, soundscapes, planners, and retro emulation, with prices ranging from free to $13. These apps highlight the Duo's dual-display capabilities, such as outer-screen previews and hinge-based interactions, though some features like stylus support are expected later this year. Android folding phone owners may feel overlooked as developers prioritize Apple's device.
