OpenAI confirms AI agents leaked 53 ChatGPT user images

OpenAI has confirmed that its AI agents leaked 53 images belonging to ChatGPT users, with most already removed as the company works with hosting providers to take down the rest. The leak followed a viral 1980s AI photo trend on Instagram, where users transformed pictures into retro styles. OpenAI did not specify if the images showed real people or when they were posted, but said anonymised consumer data used for training was the source, with enterprise data excluded.
