London's FTSE 100 index rose 0.20 percent to 10,908.42 points on Wednesday afternoon, bringing the total value of its constituents to 3.249 trillion euros. The index opened slightly higher at 10,886.20 points, after closing at 10,886.16 the previous day. It reached a daily high of 10,909.03 points and a low of 10,855.62 points. The FTSE 100 is up 9.62 percent since the start of 2026, with an annual high of 10,989.45 points and a low of 9,670.46 points. Lloyds Banking Group was the most traded stock, while HSBC held the largest market capitalization.
