The Euro STOXX 50 rose 0.63 percent to 6,496.23 points by 15:41, bringing its constituent market capitalization to 5.506 trillion euros. The index opened slightly higher at 6,462.53 points, following a previous close of 6,455.63 points. The index has gained 11.04 percent since the start of 2026. Its yearly high stands at 6,577.20 points, with a low of 5,376.81 points. Deutsche Bank led gains at 4.89 percent, while SAP SE fell 2.35 percent. ASML NV holds the largest market value at 574.196 billion euros. Volkswagen preferred shares offer the lowest price-to-earnings ratio at 4.13 and the highest projected dividend yield of 7.39 percent.
