Blizzard will launch "World of Warcraft Forever," a game set during the first year of the original 2004 "WoW," Nov. 4. The announcement was the final reveal at BlizzCon 2026's opening ceremony on Saturday. The game will feature a level cap of 60, three new zones, several overhauled zones, and a new race called Skyborn Elves. Blizzard's "Warcraft" chief Holly Longdale said the world is a main character and "the journey that counts, not the destination." Rumors about the title, known as "World of Warcraft Classic+" among fans, had circulated for weeks. Blizzard also announced a new "Warcraft 3" campaign, its first in over two decades, launching today.
