Blizzard confirms World of Warcraft: Forever, the Classic+ experience
Blizzard has officially confirmed World of Warcraft: Forever, the long-rumoured "Classic+" experience, launching globally on 4th November with beta access starting 17th September for pre-purchasers. The game is a new permanent WoW home alongside Modern and Classic, set between the Forsaken Kingdom campaign and the original Molten Core raid, featuring a level cap of 60, three new zones, over 1,000 quests, nine dungeons, two raids, and a new playable race called the Skyborne. Access is included with an existing WoW subscription, with optional upgrade packs available. Announced at BlizzCon 2026's opening ceremony, Forever was revealed alongside Diablo 5 and a new open-world StarCraft shooter, with a dedicated panel detailing its design philosophy and new systems.
