Blizzard announced World of Warcraft Forever at BlizzCon 2026, a new Classic iteration adding fresh content to original Azeroth while launching November 4. A beta begins September 17. WoW Forever keeps the level cap at 60 and focuses on the journey, adding up to 1,000 quests, three new zones, nine dungeons, two raids, a PvP battleground, and the Skyborne elf race. Class revamps and HD graphics toggles are included. Unlike past Classic progression, this version stays on Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, emphasizing social play over endgame. Original WoW Classic remains playable separately for purists.
