BlizzCon 2026 Opening Ceremony: Diablo 5, StarCraft Shooter, and WoW Forever Revealed
BlizzCon 2026 announced major new titles including Diablo 5, a StarCraft open-world shooter, and World of Warcraft: Forever, alongside a Diablo Netflix series and new heroes for Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm. Diablo 5, launching in 2029, features a world where Diablo has already won, with no safe havens. StarCraft, an open-world shooter due in 2030, was revealed with a cinematic. World of Warcraft: Forever, launching November 4, offers a "Classic Plus" experience with new zones and raids. Warcraft 3 Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom, a new campaign with over 30 hours of gameplay, is available now. Diablo 4 comes to Nintendo Switch 2 with the Season of Hell's Legacy on September 15. Overwatch's new vampire support hero Doctrine arrives next month.
