Blizzard Unveils World of Warcraft: Forever, a Classic Plus MMO

Blizzard Entertainment officially announced "World of Warcraft: Forever," a new standalone MMORPG, at BlizzCon 2026, formalizing the long-awaited "Classic Plus" project for fans. The game launches on November 4. Set in Azeroth after the events of Warcraft III, the game preserves player gear, reputation, and achievements permanently without resets across expansions. It features level 60 cap, over 1,000 new quests, nine dungeons, two raids, and the new playable race, Skyborn. Blizzard also revealed "Warcraft 3: Reforged Forsaken Kingdom," a new campaign covering Sylvanas' origins, and detailed the next major content for the Worldsoul saga, "Eclipse," followed by the finale "The Last Titan."
