Texas Governor-elect blocks SpaceX land deal near Boca Chica State Park

The land includes Boca Chica State Park near SpaceX's Starbase facility, and the item was reportedly removed from a recent commission agenda. Hinojosa expressed openness to working with Elon Musk's businesses but stated it must be "on our terms," not at the expense of Texans. She will take office January 19, 2027, and has not announced a final decision on the potential transfer.
