Nvidia projects 70% revenue growth in 2028
Nvidia projected 70% revenue growth for its next fiscal year, boosting shares in after-hours trading. The company also defended providing capital support to customers amid circular financing concerns. Nvidia beat revenue and earnings expectations for its latest quarter, posting $96.2 billion in revenue, more than double year-earlier figures, with net income up 126% to $59.7 billion. Data center revenue rose 117% to $89 billion. CFO Colette Kress said the company remains supply constrained, otherwise it could double revenue next year. The stock had fallen for seven straight sessions before the report. CEO Jensen Huang called the AI infrastructure buildout "at full steam." Kress teased selective credit enhancement for nearly two gigawatts of compute for another frontier AI lab, dismissing circular financing criticisms as supporting "once-in-a-generation companies."
