Nvidia beats forecasts as AI hits turning point

Nvidia reported a second-quarter results, beating analyst expectations with revenue up 106 percent to 96.2 billion dollars, exceeding analyst expectations for the 15th consecutive quarter, with earnings per share at 2.22 dollars, above market forecasts. The AI is at its turning point, said CEO Jensen Huang. For the third quarter, the chip giant forecasts revenue between 105.84 and 110.16 billion dollars. Net income rose 126 percent to 59.7 billion dollars, beating analyst expectations for the 15th consecutive quarter. Despite the positive results, Nvidia shares fell in after-hours trading on Wall Street. Since the start of the year, Nvidia shares have gained over 12 percent.
