Former Mossad agent linked to Flávio Bolsonaro's US escape probe
Investigations into former presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro's escape to the United States indicate a former Mossad agent participated in the operation, according to a report aired Sunday on Fantástico. Menachem Booky Halevy was a passenger in a van that crossed the Brazil-Argentina border seven minutes before a vehicle allegedly carrying Bolsonaro and his family. The other passenger was lawyer Roberto Jorge Alexandre, who has defended former President Jair Bolsonaro. The driver said he was hired to take the two men to Puerto Iguazú airport and denied seeing the Bolsonaro family. Argentine immigration records show three entries for the senator in the same van, with only the Italian passport entry remaining valid. Bolsonaro reportedly departed in a jet linked to lawyer Willer Tomaz, who denied involvement. His wife and daughters took a separate route from Brasília.
