Iran Tells Pakistan's Army Chief US Must Change Approach

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told Pakistan's army chief on Monday that the United States must change its tone and approach toward Iran. Pezeshkian made the remarks in Tehran during a meeting with General Asim Munir, who has mediated the ceasefire agreement. He said US reliance on coercion complicates implementation and stressed Washington must respect Iran's legitimate rights and international norms. Munir, who played a key role in the June memorandum of understanding, pledged continued Pakistani support. He also met Iran's chief negotiator and other senior officials before the presidential meeting.
