Fans honor Bonnie Tyler at Mumbles celebration of life

Fans lined the streets of Mumbles, Wales, on Saturday to pay tribute to singer Bonnie Tyler, who died unexpectedly on 8 July at age 75 in a Portuguese hospital. The Total Eclipse of the Heart star was making her final journey home. Tributes poured in from stars including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Bryan Adams and Rod Stewart, while locals described Tyler as a "Swansea girl through and through" who never forgot her roots. Fans gathered outside her home and along roads in Newton and Mumbles to honour her. A public celebration of Tyler's life will be held Monday at St Mary's Church in Swansea, followed by a private family service in Neath Port Talbot. Born Gaynor Hopkins, she is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Robert Sullivan.
