Dominican minister backs Abinader's regional AI center proposal

Dominican Foreign Minister Víctor "Ito" Bisonó highlighted support for President Luis Abinader's proposal to establish a regional artificial intelligence center in the country during the XXX Ibero-American Summit. Bisonó said the summit will be productive and praised the call for the next UN Secretary-General to come from Latin America, citing regional rotation principles. He also announced a business breakfast to promote Dominican investment opportunities. The minister emphasized opportunities in solar energy, construction, health, education, and services, noting Spain is the top European investor and trading partner. He cited Abinader's guarantees on institutional stability and reduced bureaucracy as key to attracting foreign capital.
