Ex-NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom ejected from WNBA game after Natasha Cloud confrontation

Former NBA center Enes Kanter Freedom was ejected from Sunday night's Indiana-Chicago WNBA game after being confronted by Sky guard Natasha Cloud late in the third quarter. Cloud, 34, yelled and pointed at Kanter, 34, who was seated along the baseline wearing a shirt reading "WOMAN noun. adult human female." Security and Sky players intervened as Kanter stepped onto the court. Cloud met with team and league security after the game but did not speak to media. The incident occurred amid debates on transgender women in the WNBA, which has no such players. Kanter and Royce White declared themselves eligible for the WNBA draft, identifying as women. Chicago coach Tyler Marsh said Cloud protects "people that need to be protected."
