Security escorted him out of Wintrust Arena as the crowd booed. The incident occurred during a timeout with the Indiana Fever leading 81-75. Cloud shouted toward Freedom, who responded and stepped toward the court, prompting security intervention. After his removal, Freedom posted on X, claiming he was ejected "for supporting WOMEN" and criticizing Cloud's past remarks about America. Freedom, who has declared for the 2027 WNBA draft, wore a shirt defining "woman" to the game. He also faced hostile protesters outside the arena. The Fever won 113-90.
