The incident occurred during the third quarter, and arena security escorted him out. Cloud appeared to direct comments toward Freedom's baseline seat after making a layup, requiring teammates and personnel to hold her back. Freedom then approached with raised hands before security moved him behind the basket and eventually out of the arena, where he was booed. Freedom, who has declared himself eligible for the WNBA draft claiming he identifies as a woman, wore a shirt reading "WOMAN noun. adult human female." He argued with Chicago police in the lobby, saying he was "supporting women." The WNBA and Sky have not commented.
