Russia says it tracks weapons supplies to Ukraine

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia is closely monitoring information about weapons supplies to Ukraine. He stated Moscow carefully tracks which countries provide licenses and which weapons are delivered. Peskov made the remarks in response to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's claim that U.S. President Donald Trump promised Kyiv licenses to produce Patriot air defense system missiles. The Russian spokesman said all such information is thoroughly taken into account. Kyiv has repeatedly requested Washington's permission to manufacture Patriot missiles. In July 2026, Trump mentioned plans to grant Ukraine such rights, but no official confirmation from the White House has been issued yet.
