Lindsay Clancy trial nears closing arguments as final witnesses testify

The Lindsay Clancy murder trial resumes Monday with prosecutors expected to call their final rebuttal witnesses before closing arguments. Clancy is accused of killing her three children in January 2023. The defense rested Friday after forensic psychiatrist Dr. Phillip Resnick testified Clancy suffered postpartum psychosis and had no control over her actions. Prosecutors countered with Dr. Avram Mack, who said psychosis alone does not prevent knowing right from wrong. Supporters gathered outside Plymouth Superior Court, with some wearing white in remembrance of the children. Closing arguments were delayed as prosecutors have two additional witnesses to call.
