Houthi missile attack kills 2 sailors in Bab el-Mandeb; Yemen strikes kill 10

A missile attack on a cargo ship in the Bab el-Mandeb strait killed two sailors and set the vessel on fire, with other crew members rescued. The Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for the attack. The Houthis also reported that a Saudi Arabian attack on Yemen's Taiz and Al-Jouf regions killed 10 people and wounded 14 others. In response, the Houthis warned the United States against assisting Saudi Arabia. The Houthis threatened to attack US military bases in the Gulf and warned Washington against attempting to seize the Bab el-Mandeb strait. Due to the threats, Saudi Arabia postponed its National Day fireworks and drone show, scheduled for September 23.
