Nvidia invests $3 billion in Meta as it raises $95 billion for AI infrastructure
Nvidia will invest $3 billion in Meta as the social media giant plans to raise $95 billion to expand AI infrastructure and develop advanced AI agents. Meta will raise the funds in two stages, starting with $35 billion through public equity offerings and $60 billion via an at-the-market programme. Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom expressed interest in buying up to $5 billion in shares. Meta will also expand use of Nvidia's Vera Rubin platform and collaborate on its Muse AI agent. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said AI agents could transform computing by completing tasks on users' behalf. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg welcomed the partnership. Nvidia has participated in 121 investment rounds in 2026, up from 13 in 2022, with stakes in OpenAI, Anthropic, Intel and xAI.
