Hyrox changes rules after world record holder's mid-race accident in Beijing

Hyrox has changed its rules after women's world record holder Joanna Wietrzyk soiled herself during a race in Beijing on Saturday but was allowed to continue and win, prompting an apology from organisers. Co-founder Moritz Fuerste admitted the handling was a mistake. Fuerste said Hyrox failed to react immediately during the race and has since implemented new rules and procedures to prevent similar situations. Wietrzyk, who later posted a deleted hospital selfie, defended her win, saying "a win is a win."
